To prevent major congestion and to provide space for emergency and emergency services, some streets in the city are also temporarily closed to car traffic. Motorists who want to drive in, out of or past Amsterdam are advised to take additional travel time into account, which can amount to more than one hour.

Traffic will be diverted, and extra travel time may exceed one hour. These closures do not apply to emergency services, cyclists, public transport, or permit holders for bus and tram lanes.
Trams, buses, and metros will continue to operate as usual. However, they are expected to be busier than normal. Festival visitors are encouraged to travel by foot, by bike, or using a shared scooter whenever possible. Bicycle parking facilities will be set up near the festival entrances.
