Step into the magical ice world of Art Below Zero, a spectacular exhibition in the Central Market Hall where 750 years of Amsterdam come to life. Let yourself be taken through time, from the year 1275 to the present, during Europe's largest ice sculpture exhibition.

Amsterdam frozen in ice

During this unique exhibition, you will walk through a collection of life-sized ice sculptures created by artists from around the world. Each artwork tells a story from Amsterdam’s history, literally frozen in time.

From iconic places like the Rijksmuseum, the Magere Brug, and the Palace of the People’s Industry, to stories about historical figures such as Anne Frank and Johnny Jordaan. Art Below Zero brings these stories to life in a way you’ve never seen before!
