Final Day of the Cruyff Street League

01 July 2025

Will you come watch on Dam Square? On Saturday, July 5th, it’s finally happening: the big final day of the Cruyff Street League! And it’s taking place on Dam Square. The best street football teams of Amsterdam — boys and girls aged 10 to 15 — will compete for the coveted ‘Cruyff Street League Trophy’. It will be a spirited battle between all city districts, full of pride, energy, and respect. But even if you're not playing, you’ll enjoy a day full of music, shows, and fun. The program starts at 9:00 AM and runs until 6:00 PM.

The Program

Everyone is welcome at this free event: parents, grandparents, brothers, sisters, neighbors, friends, and passersby. There’s something for everyone:

  • Thrilling matches between top teams from across the city
  • Live performance by singer Noud with Dutch-language songs
  • Football clinics by a well-known football influencer
  • Dance shows and a CPR workshop from the Nouri Foundation
  • Music, action, and fun around the main stage
  • And of course, the big award ceremonies

Schedule

  • 09:00 – Opening and unveiling of the “Pride of the City” shirts
  • 09:30–13:15 – Teams aged 10 to 12
  • 13:40–17:45 – Teams aged 13 to 15

Each team will play 3 to 5 matches of 10 minutes on a real street football pitch, right on the cobblestones of Dam Square.

Special Football Shirts

Together with Nike and Voetbalshop, Studio Wesseling (under the name ‘Blood in Blood’) designed the “Pride of the City” shirt. Each of the 8 city districts has its own unique design. MBO students from ROC Amsterdam North contributed to the project. All finalists will play on July 5th wearing the shirt of their district.
