Have you always wanted to run on the Ring A10? Alone, with friends, your football team or perhaps with the whole family? On June 21, that dream will become reality! For the very first – and only – time, the Elevation Group Run will take place on the Ring. The Run marks the start of the Op de Ring festival, which takes place in honor of 750 years of Amsterdam on the longest day of the year, Saturday, June 21, on a 15 kilometer car-free A10 ring road.

A Run for Everyone

Whether you’re young or old, an experienced runner or a beginner with blisters, you won’t want to miss this unique experience. Everyone can participate! With the City Pass, you get more than 70% off the registration fee. Do you need extra support due to a disability? Then join the Special Run. And the best part? You can also run for a good cause. That way, you’re running not only for yourself but also for someone else.

The course starts at Watergraafsmeer (S113) and follows a short loop over the A2 to the festive finish at the RAI (S109). The course length is 7.5 kilometers. Along the way, DJs will play the best beats, and you’ll be cheered on loudly in the cheering zone.

About the Op de Ring Festival

On June 21st – the longest day of the year – we celebrate the 750th anniversary of Amsterdam on 15 kilometers of car-free Ring A10. It will be a true Amsterdam party, with music, sports, dance, art, food and drinks, and much more. The full program will be announced on May 21st. To make the event possible, a large part of the Ring A10 will be closed off. This will have significant consequences for traffic in and around Amsterdam. Visitors to the festival are advised to come on foot, by bike, or, if necessary, by public transport. Leave the car at home, as there will be no parking available.
